The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) was held on 08 Feb 2025 at the Regimental Centre, SLNG.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairperson of SLNG – SVB, Mrs Sumangali Pathiravithana. The proceeding commenced with a two-minute silence in remembrance of the war Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland.This was followed by the lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chairperson, the executive committee and other senior members, marking the official commencement of the day’s events.
During the meeting, the Chairperson outlined the future projects planned for implementation. A new committee for the year was appointed, and responsibilities were formally handed over unit representatives, with monthly target set for each project. Further, the Chairperson provided guidance on annual activities to be conducted and highlighted the importance of dedication in completing the tasks successfully.
