Major General C.Kalutharaarachchi assumed office as the new Director General of the Directorate of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering on 14 February 2025 at Army Headquarters during a brief religious ceremony.
The new Director General symbolically placed his signature on a formal document amidst chanting of prayers by members of the clergy, marking the acceptance of his new appointment.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
