Colonel MD Perera assumed duties as the 05th Deputy Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regimental Centre on 18 November 2024.
He was started the duties of his office by performing religious rites.
Thereafter, the new Deputy Centre Commandant addressed the officers and other ranks.
