With parallel to the Poson festival, Seva Vanitha SLEME Branch organized a spectacle distribution event with the vision of the Honorary President of Seva Vanitha SLEME Branch, Mrs. Nandani Samarakoon with the financial contribution of SLEME Seva Vanitha Branch on 28 June 2024 at SLEME Regimental Headquarters premises.
This Generous program was conducted by the 1st Battalion of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to provide family members of EME Soldiers with high-quality spectacles free of charge to 67 members with various visual impairments.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Comdt of Corps of EME Maj Gen SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, senior officers, Number of members of SLEME Seva Vanitha branch ORs and their family members were participated to the event.
