NEWLY APPOINTED COLONEL COMMANDANT OF SRI LANKA ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERS ASSUMES OFFICE

Brigadier HDAN Hettige, assumed duties as the 13^th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on 26 November 2025, at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

The incoming Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the senior officers and accorded a Guard Turnout.

Thereafter, the Colonel Commandant officially assumed his new responsibilities amidst religious observances, in the presence of Senior Officers and placed the signature in a formal document symbolizing the assumption of duties as the Colonel Commandant.
