Major General S A N J Ariyasena received Guard of Honour offered in honour of his Promotion to the rank of Major General Accordance with Military traditions on 12 July 2024 at the Parade Ground of RHQ SLEME.
After the Parade Major General S A N J Ariyasena met DCOS & Col Comdt of Corps of SLEME Major General S P A I M B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc and received congratulatory remarks from the Col Comdt for his promotion to the Rank of “Two of Star General”
Finally Major General S A N J Ariyasena appeared for a group Photograph followed by a Tea Party at the officers’ Mess. RHQ SLEME Centre Commandant Colonel D A Sirimannage, Senior Officers, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended for the Felicitation Ceremony.
