Deputy Chief of Staff’s Administrative Inspection was successfully conducted on 02 January 2026 at RHQ SLEME, with the participation of Deputy Chief of Staff Maj Gen Y A B M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc. The Directors and representatives from branches and Colonel Commandant ,Centre Commandant , Commandants and Commanding Officers of the Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers participated for the administrative inspection.
The inspection emphasized the essential importance of maintaining the administrative, operational and logistic pillars of the regimental Centre and the units. The Administrative Inspection functions as a valuable platform to assess current systems, identify gaps and reinforce effective practices. The inspection concluded successfully and motivated the units to enhance procedures and strengthen documentation.
