CORPS OF SLEME APPRECIATED THE DEDICATION OF SLEME SPORTSMEN

According to the guidance of the the Comd Army Logistics Comd & Col Comdt of Corps of SLEME Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, RHQ SLEME organized a glamorous tea party to EME sportsmen who performed well during the Inter Regiment sports events in 2023 in appreciating hard works and dedication towards the Corps of EME.

Following EME tradesmen were appreciated for their achievements by Senior Officers.

1. SLEME Squash Squad

• S/629684 L/cpl Bandara PGNT for Obtaining the Runners - up in Open individuals of Inter Regiment squash Competition

• SLEME Squash Squad for Obtaining Runners - up in Inter Regiment Squash Competition

2. SLEME Karate Squad

• SLEME Karate Squad for Obtaining Color belt Runners up in inter Regiment Karate Competition

3. SLEME Cycle Team

• SLEME Cycle team for Obtaining Championship in Air force Cycle Tour – 2023 and for wining 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places.

It was held on 25 April 2023 in RHQ office complex participating Comd Army Logistics Comd & Col Comdt of Corps of SLEME Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, The Director General Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Maj Gen JARSK Jayasekara USP Psc, The Overlooking Centre Comdt RHQ SLEME Col PDLAC Sirisena RSP Lsc, Senior officers, Officers and EME sportsmen.

Marking the end of the day’s proceedings, Col Comdt spoke few words to encourage EME sportsmen for the victories in upcoming events..
