According to guidance given by the Colonel Commandant SLAGSC Brig MKSS De Silva, Mrs. Nayomani De Silva, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps actively distributed 1,350 dinner packs each including bottled water and yoghurt to flood-affected families in the Malwana area on 4th December 2025.
The initiative was strongly supported by the Centre Commandant of SLAGSC Colonel CS Demuni, senior Seva Vanitha members, and Organized by the Commanding Officer of 2 SLAGSC Maj DNP Karunarathna and his beloved spouse Mrs Senali Karunarathna. In additionally received major support from Commanding Officer of 1 SLAGSC Lt Col AMTCB Adhikari Lsc and his beloved spouse Mrs Chandima Madawala also contributed to the above Charity. Their collective efforts ensured the timely delivery of essential food and clean water to the displaced families and support to army personnel and surrounding communities in times of crisis.
