The "Kadala Dansala" organized by 2 (V) SLAGSC with the instructions and guidance of the President Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe was ceremonially declared open at 4:30 p.m. at Bodhirajaramaya Temple by the Director, Directorate of Pay and Records Brigadier Sarath De Silva and Mrs. Nayomi De Silva the Vice-President of the Seva Vanitha Branch SLAGSC.
Approximately 3,000 devotees benefited from the Dansala, receiving alms in a spirit of compassion and community during this sacred day. The event was a remarkable success.
Distinguished guests in attendance included the Director of the Army Benevolent Fund, Colonel Nalin De Silva, Mrs. Chathurani Ovitigala the former secretary, The Centre Commandant Colonel Chandana Kodithuwakku, Seva Vanitha Secretary Mrs. Disna Kodithuwakku along with several senior members.
The event was excellently organized by the CO of 2(V) SLAGSC, Major Parakrama Karunaratne, and his dedicated staff. We express our sincere appreciation to all senior Seva Vanitha members and Officers who made generous contributions and donations to support the event.
