Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAC-SVB), together with SLAC-SVB members, visited the war heroes residing at Mihindu Seth Madura, Aththidiya, on 01 November 2025.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by the resident war heroes. Afterwards, the SLAC-SVB members visited the wards to observe and identify the needs of the wellness resort. The visit also featured an entertainment session presented by the SLAC beat band.
As part of their contribution, the SLAC-SVB donated CFL bulbs worth Rs. 50,000 for use at the wellness resort. In addition, school bags with books and stationery were distributed among the children of the residents.
