SLA-SVB Constructed a House to a Needy Family

The Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (SLA-SVB) completed the construction of a new house for Bombardier R.D.H.K. Wijerathne at Udaththapola, Dodamgaslanda. The newly constructed house was vested in the beneficiary on 28 September 2025 by Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, together with Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.

The project was conducted under the guidance of Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery, and under the supervision of Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, Chairperson of the SLA-SVB.

Members of the SLA-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
