SVB–SLSC Extends Support to Family Member of Civilian Worker

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SVB–SLSC), under the guidance of its Chairperson, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, organised a donation programme on 10 July 2025.

The initiative extended support to the wife of a civilian waiter attached to the 10th Sri Lanka Signal Corps, currently undergoing treatment for abdominal cancer at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. SVB–SLSC provided financial assistance worth Rs. 15,000.00 along with a supply of nutritious food items to ease the family’s burden during this challenging period. The team also visited the patient, personally inquired into her condition, and offered words of comfort and encouragement.
