The children of the 'Viru Kekulu' pre-school in Galle showcased their talents during the Annual Sports Meet held on 09 May 2025 at the 2 (V) Gemunu Watch camp ground premises in Galle. Mrs Ajantha De Silva, senior member in charge of the Viru Kekulu pre-school, Galle, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the children, together with Major General K.T.P De Silva RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding, 61 Infantry Division.
All the children of the pre-school enthusiastically participated in a range of sporting and fun-filled activities, including Band Display, Drill Display, Relay Race, Obstacle Game, Shooting Game, Cooking Game, Let's Save Trees, Fun Hockey Game, Play with Rings Game, Caterpillar Game, Crab Race, Beach Game, Fishing Game, and Let's Make a Sand Castle game.
The event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony. Senior Officers, ASVU members, Other Ranks and parents were present to witness the colourful event.
