The ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school in Panagoda held its Annual Sports Meet on 08th May 2025 at the Sri Lanka Signal Corps ground. Mrs. Udari Anupama Gamage, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) and senior member in charge of the pre-school, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the children along with Major General U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West).
The event began with the lighting of traditional oil lamp and a vibrant band display. A total of 195 children and 16 teachers actively participated in various games and sports activities.
The event concluded with a prize giving ceremony recognizing the young achievers. Senior Officers, ASVU members, Other Ranks, and parents participated in the event.
