Diyathalawa 'Viru Kekulu' Pre-School Stages Its Annual Sports Meet

The 'Viru Kekulu' Pre-school in Diyathalawa, managed by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), held its Annual Sports Meet on 08th May 2025 at the pre-school premises. Mrs. Damayanthi Bandaranayake, Chairperson of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR-SVB) and the senior member in charge of the ‘Viru Kekulu’ Pre-school, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The Chief Guest, along with Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, Commander, Security Forces (Central), was warmly welcomed by the children upon arrival at the premises.

The young students enthusiastically showcased their talents through various displays and games. At the conclusion of the event, the Chief Guest presented prizes to the participating children and left a special note of appreciation in the visitors' book.

Senior Officers, senior members of ASVU, Other Ranks and parents were also present at the event.
