The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB), under the guidance of its Chairperson Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, conducted a New Year Programme at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Mulleriyawa on 26 April 2025.
The event featured the distribution of traditional Avurudu sweets and tea, a lively musical performance by the SLNG calypso band, and a special lunch for patients. Additionally, the SLNG-SVB donated gift packs with sanitary essentials and a multi-purpose furniture item to support patients' welfare. SLNG-SVB members, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
