Mrs Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), together with Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, visited the Seva Vanitha Paper Recycling Project at Pangolla on 06th February 2025.
During the visit, they observed the ongoing paper recycling operations, closely engaged with the manufacturing process, and reviewed the current procedures in detail. They provided valuable guidance to enhance efficiency and productivity while emphasising the importance of innovation and optimisation for the long-term success of the project.
Additionally, they inspected the accommodation facilities of the soldiers and issued instructions for the construction of a new billet to provide improved living conditions for the personnel.
