Over 60 Army personnel, including Officers and Other Ranks from the 4 SLASC, donated blood to the Polonnaruwa Teaching Hospital Blood Bank on 30th January 2025.
The project was conducted by a medical team from Polonnaruwa Teaching Hospital and was carried out with the guidance of Major H.B.M.W.S.A.B Mahagedara Lsc, Commanding Officer of 4 SLASC, and Mrs. Chanchala Mahagedara. The initiative was coordinated by Mrs. Chandi Rajapaksa, Chairperson of the SLASC SVB.
