Under the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR), along with Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Chairperson of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB), a newly constructed house was vested for a Non - Commissioned Officer on 31st January 2025 in Kandy.
The project was funded by MIR-SVB and the 2nd Battalion of MIR, under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel P.V.R.P Kumara RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of 2 MIR. Additionally, MIR-SVB donated an electrical appliance worth Rs. 10,000.00 to the beneficiary’s family.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
