The Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE-SVB) reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to disabled veterans by donating three electric tricycles on Saturday, 01st February 2025, at the Regimental Centre SLE.
This noble initiative marks a significant milestone in honouring and supporting those War Heroes who have selflessly sacrificed for the Nation.
This initiative was supervised by the visionary guidance of Major General A.H.L.G Amaralapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, and Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch.
Their dedication to the welfare of disabled war veterans has driven numerous impactful projects, ensuring continued support for those who served the country.
The donation was made possible through the generous financial support of Mr. Dipak Das, Managing Director of Lanka IOC Pvt Ltd.
These electric tricycles are designed to provide disabled veterans with enhanced mobility and independence with a focus on ease of use.
