Major General A.K Rajapakse RSP, the Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) along with Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, Chairperson of the SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), officially handed over the keys to a newly constructed house to Mrs. Asha Abeysooriya, spouse of Late Major A.P.S.U Abeysooriya on 20th January 2025, in Trincomalee.
The house was built through the 9th phase of the Sri Lanka Army Ranaviru Housing Fund, with construction efforts led by troops from 15th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 3rd Engineer Service Regiment, 8th and 2 (V) Regiments of SLASC, with the financial contributions of philanthropists. The initiative was conducted under the supervision of the Commanding Officers of 8 SLASC, 4 SLASC, and Officer Commanding of C-420 Composite Squadron.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
