Colourful Performances Highlight Viru Kekulu Pre-school Variety Show"

The annual variety show of the Viru Kekulu Pre-school, Manning Town, was held on 18th January 2025 at the auditorium of the Army Hospital, Colombo.

The event was graced by Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, as the Chief Guest. Upon her arrival, she was warmly welcomed by a group of children offering sheaf of betel leaves. The children’s performances commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chief Guest and other distinguished invitees.

Subsequently, a colourful welcome dance was performed by a group of pre-school children, followed by exciting dance items. The annual variety show showcased the vibrant creative talents of the pre-school children through captivating performances, including songs and other artistic displays.

Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch and the Senior Seva Vanitha Member in charge of the Viru Kekulu Pre-school – Manning Town, Senior Officers, Officers, Teachers, Staff, and Parents of the pre-school children participated in the event.
