ASVU Distributes Dry Ration Packs to Army and Civil Personnel

Under the guidance of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army and the supervision of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a significant donation event took place on 26 December 2024 at the ASVU Office.

Mrs. Janaki Liyanage graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over the relief packs to the recipients.

Accordingly, a total of 200 dry ration packs were distributed among selected Army and Civil Personnel serving at Commander’s Secretariat, Army Headquarters and Security Forces Headquarters (East). This initiative was aimed to provide economic relief to beneficiaries and ease their financial burden.

The distribution ceremony was attended by the Brigadier Coordinating ASVU, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks.
