ASVU Distributes Dry Ration Packs and School Accessories to Needy Personnel and Children

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) distributed 200 dry ration packs to selected Army and civilian personnel working at Security Forces – West and ASVU projects on 11 December 2024 at the ASVU office, Army Headquarters.

Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, the President of ASVU, attended the event as the Chief Guest and handed over the relief packs to the recipients.

Additionally, responding to a request from the Presidential Secretariat, 30 school accessories were presented to the Assistant Director (Tri-Forces Defence Coordination). These items were later distributed to the children of the 'SWANS' preschool, a rural preschool located in the Mawanella area.

Brigadier Coordinating of ASVU, Senior members of ASVU, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
