CES-SVB Conducts a School Bag Donation Programme

Under the guidance of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake, the Chairperson of the Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch (CES-SVB), a school bag donation programme was conducted by the 15 (V) Engineer Services Regiment (ESR) in line with the 75th Anniversary of the CES on 7 December 2024 at the 15 (V) ESR premises.

Mrs. J.P. Tekla, a senior member of CES-SVB, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

During the programme, 294 children of Other Ranks of the 15 (V) ESR benefitted from the donation. Later, refreshments were provided to the participants. Lieutenant Colonel S.B.T.P. De Silva, the Commanding Officer of the 15 (V) ESR, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, participated in the event.
