A school accessories distribution programme was held on 11 November 2024, under the guidance of Mrs. Damayanthi Bandaranayake, Chairperson of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR-SVB), and Major General K.A.W.N.H. Bandaranayake USP, General Officer Commanding of the 14 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment VIR.
During the programme, 97 students from Madihe Pannasiha Vidyalaya, Puttur, and Sri Narada College, Karaveddy, received school accessories at their respective school premises.
Gifts were also presented to 40 teachers who participated in the event. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks took part in the occasion.
