ASVU Conducts Donation Program at Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) conducted a donation program at Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama, on 13 November 2024 to support inmates receiving treatment at Abimansala I, II, III, Mihindu Seth Madura and Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama.

During the event, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of the ASVU, handed over wheelchairs, crutches, commode chairs, walking aids and medical equipment to the Directorate of Veterans' Affairs and Rehabilitation. These donations are intended to enhance the care and comfort of the war veterans receiving treatment at the various facilities.

The President engaged with the inmates, inquiring about their needs and the wellbeing of their families. A group photograph was taken to mark the occasion. Brigadier Coordinating of ASVU, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks also attended the event.
