SLSC-SVB Conducts Book Donation Programme

The Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB) conducted a book donation programme on 08 November 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda.

Mrs. Ganga Herath, the Chairperson of SLSC-SVB, graced the event as the chief guest. During the programme, 90 out of a total of 2,082 book parcels, valued at Rs. 4,803,063.00, were symbolically presented to children of soldiers residing in Colombo and suburb areas.

The remaining book parcels were handed over to the respective Commanding Officers of various units, ensuring that they would be distributed under their guidance and supervision.

SLSC-SVB members, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and children participated in the event.
