SLASC-SVB Conducts Bodhi Pooja on 106th Anniversary of SLASC

The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB) organised a Bodhi Pooja on 30 October 2024 at the Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya Temple in line with the 106th anniversary of the SLASC.

Major General A.K Rajapakshe RSP, Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant of the SLASC, together with Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, the Chairperson of SLASC-SVB, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Venerable Rathnapure Dhammaissara Thero, Chief Incumbent at Weyangoda Mottunna Kireetarama Temple, conducted a sermon and invoked blessings on fallen War Heroes, disabled soldiers, serving Army personnel, and their families.

Members of the SLASC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the religious programme.
