The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW - SVB) hosted a donation programme on 19 October 2024 under the guidance of Mrs. Manori Welagedara, Chairperson of GW - SVB, to support the families of the GW.
During the event, 11 donations were made to fulfil the medical requirements of GW family members. Additionally, 2 scholarships were awarded to students who excelled in the 2023 O/L Exam, achieving 9A's. To further assist those in need, 2 dry ration packs were donated to underprivileged families, and 15 sets of school accessories were provided for students.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
