The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a Children’s Day programme under the guidance of Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, Chairperson of SLSR-SVB, on 12 October 2024 at the Regimental Centre in Ambepussa.
Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The event featured fun activities, competitions, and the distribution of gift parcels to the children. Meanwhile, coconut plants were also distributed, promoting environmental awareness among the children. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and children participated in the event.
