The Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR-SVB) celebrated World Children’s Day on 5 October 2024 by hosting a series of events for the children of Commando Regiment families at the Commando Regiment Swimming Pool Complex. Mrs. Nimali Ranathunga, the Chairperson of CR-SVB, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The event included fun activities, competitions, and the distribution of gift parcels to the children. To promote environmental awareness, plants were distributed among the children, in collaboration with the Manager and staff of Ragama Commercial Bank.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and children took part in the programme.
