The Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB), under the guidance of Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Chairperson of MIR-SVB, conducted a cleaning and donation programme at the Sri Jinarathana Child Care Centre, Dambulla, on 12 October 2024. This event coincided with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army and World Children's Day.
The programme, supported by the Municipal Council Dambulla, included entertainment and lunch for 30 children. The initiative was carried out with the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment MIR.
