The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR-SVB), led by Chairperson Mrs. Damayanti Bandaranayake, organized a special excursion for 23 boys from the Maliyadewa Orphanage to Colombo Metropolitan on 5 October 2024, in line with the World Children’s Day.
The day’s itinerary included visits to the Dehiwala Zoo, Lotus Tower, and a lunch at KFC Marine Drive, followed by playtime at Galle Face.
The event concluded with a donation of shoes and gift parcels by the members of VIR - SVB among the children.
Senior Officers, Officers, Members of VIR-SVB and Other Ranks participated in the event.
