SLAWC-SVB Conducts a Blood Donation Programme

Under the guidance of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and supervision of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC-SVB), a Blood Donation Programme was organised on 26 August 2024 at the Regimental Centre of SLAWC, Borella, coinciding with the 75th Army Day.

This programme was conducted with the assistance of the Central Blood Bank, Narahenpita. A total of 50 Officers and Other Ranks donated their blood.
