Members of SLEME - SVB Visit ‘Abhimansala II’ at Kamburupitiya

Members of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME-SVB) visited ‘Abhimansala II’ in Kamburupitiya on 28 August 2024, with the intention of inquiring about the wellbeing of the resident War Heroes.

Mrs. Nandani Samarakoon, the Chairperson of SLEME-SVB, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the visit, members of SLEME-SVB donated essential items, including batik shirts, sarongs, bed sheets, and pillowcases for War Heroes which were provided by the Base Workshop – Udawalawa.

The event concluded with a tea session for the War Heroes. Senior members and other members of SLEME-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
