Kids learning at Manning Town ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school showed their sports skills and aesthetic talents during their annual Sports Meet at Manning Town ‘Viru Kekulu’ preschool on 23 July 2024.
Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) attended the event as the Chief Guest, together with several ASVU members. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the kids on her arrival at the location offering a sheaf of betel.
All the kids joyfully participated in different features, sports activities, such as band display, hop little bunny, matching fruits, tortoise game, frog game, monkey game, safari game, fun with balls, elephant game and busy bees, etc during the meet.
The Chief Guest gave away prizes for the kids who participated in the day’s events.
Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Director General of Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineers, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, Chairperson of Corps of Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Officers, Officers, preschool teachers, parents and kids were associated with the occasion.
