Newly-appointed SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Chairperson Assumes Duties

Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe, the new Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC - SVB) assumed office at the SLAGSC Regimental Headquarters on 15 July 2024 during a brief ceremony that preceded religious observances.

On arrival, Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Chathurani Ovitigala, Secretary to the SLAGSC - SVB, along with executive Seva Vanitha members Mrs. Nayomi De Silva and Mrs. Achini Mahakumbura presenting a bouquet of flowers.

Following religious observances, Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe inaugurated her office by lighting the traditional oil lamp formalizing her new appointment and placing the signature on an official document. Senior members and Lady Officers conveyed their sincere greetings and best wishes to the new Chairperson, of SLAGSC - SVB.
