New Library Facility Declares Opens at 3 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps – Sandunpura

A new library was opened for the troops at Sandunpura on 16 June 2024 under the guidance of Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanita Branch (SLAWC-SVB) and the supervision of Major H.H.H De Silva, the Commanding Officer of 3 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps. Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanita Branch graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

On this occasion the Chief Guest, addressed all ranks present, emphasizing the profound impact of reading on knowledge enhancement. During the ceremony, she generously donated a collection of valuable books to augment the library's offerings.
