New Library Facility Declare Opens at 2 (V) SLAWC - Madawachchiya

Under the guidance of Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanita Branch (SLAWC-SVB) and supervision of Major S.G.M Premathilake, Commanding Officer of 2(Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps, a new library facility was inaugurated on 16 June 2024 at 2 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps-Madawachchiya premises.

Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, presided over the opening ceremony and addressed all ranks present the occasion, emphasizing the significance of expanding knowledge through reading. As a gesture of support, she donated valuable books to enrich the newly established library.
