SLAOC – SVB Arranges another Welfare Programme for Families of War Heroes

In conjunction with the annual programme of activities, the Central Arms & Ammunition Depot organized a donation programme on 31 March 2024 under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC –SVB).

The initiative, spearheaded by the Chairperson of SLAOC - SVB, Mrs. Iresha Fernando with guidance of Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, the Commander Logistics Command – North and the Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC.

The donation consisted with dry ration and financial grants for War Heroes' families as a support for them. In addition, children’s' entertainment programme was also organized for the kids in area and gifts parcels were distributed among them.

The Chairperson of SLAOC – SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and members of SLAOC – SVB were present at the event.
