Coinciding with International Women's Day, the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAMC-SVB) hosted a programme at the SLAMC Regimental Centre on 23 March 2024. This event, under the guidance of Chairperson Dr. Nilmini Fernando, featured a lecture focusing on breast cancer awareness, an essential health concern for women. The informative session aimed to educate and empower attendees regarding early detection and preventive measures.
In addition to that, a beauty culture program was also conducted by British Cosmetics, enhancing the holistic approach to women's wellbeing.
The programme concluded with a lunch treat. Further, gift packs were also presented to all attendees, acknowledging their involvement and commitment to health and beauty awareness.
