GW-SVB Honours Fallen War Heroes

The Gemunu Watch - Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) organized a program to commemorate fallen GW War Heroes on 23 March 2024 under the guidance of Mrs. Manori Welagedara, the Chairperson of GW-SVB, at the 5 GW War Heroes’ monument.

Major General S.W.B. Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, Colonel Commandant of GW graced the ceremony as the chief guest and paid a floral tribute to the monument. 166 family members of 74 fallen War Heroes participated in the event and they were served breakfast and lunch by GW-SVB.

Additionally, they received commemorative photos of the event. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present at the ceremony.
