Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC - SVB) conducted a donation program at the 'Sathuta Children’s Home' in Saliyapura, Anuradhapura on 11 February 2024. Under the guidance of Mrs. Iresha Fernando, Chairperson of SLAOC - SVB and Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - North and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC, the event aimed to spread joy and support to 28 children residing at the Children’s Home.
The program commenced with a delightful lunch treat followed by an entertainment session, bringing smiles to the faces of the children. In addition to these activities, each child received gift packs comprising fruits, medicine, milk powder, dry rations and sanitary items provided by SLAOC - SVB.
Senior Officers, Officers, members of SLAOC - SVB and Other Ranks participated in the event.
