Sri Lanka Light Infantry - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB) welcomed its newest addition to the Regimental Centre at Panagoda, the Galent Seva Vanitha Welfare Shop, on Wednesday (10 January).
Conceptualized by Mrs. Uthpala Hettiarachchi, Chairperson of SLLI-SVB, the shop, built by SLLI troops, provides food, stationery, and many other everyday items at affordable prices.
The opening ceremony was attended by Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces - Jaffna and Officiating Colonel of the Regiment of SLLI, along with Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and members of SLLI-SVB.
