Under the direction of the Chairperson, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP - SVB), Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa, SLCMP - SVB organized Christmas Carols on 29 December 2023 at Regimental Headquarters.
The carols were performed by the St. Theresa's Church - Narahenpita Carol group in collaboration with members of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, accompanied by the musical talents of the SLCMP beat band.
A book donation program was held during the event, aiming to provide books for 36 students. Symbolically, 15 students received book packs from the Chairperson. Additionally, other participating children were presented with Christmas gifts and sweets, carefully arranged by the organizing committee.
The Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A.C.A de Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, members of SLCMP - SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Christian devotees witnessed the colorful evening.
