GW - SVB Holds Eye and Specialist Medical Clinic

Members of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanita Branch (GW - SVB) with the objective of providing medical assistance for GW Officers, Other Ranks and relatives of GW families conducted a mobile eye clinic and a specialist medical clinic at GW Regimental HQ on Tuesday (12 Dec) on a concept of Mrs. Manori Welagedara, Chairperson of GW - SVB.

Both clinics attended by 185 individuals of the GW families examined vision defects and physical ailments of the attendees. At the same time, the sponsorship provided by Messrs. Pragalita Pushpa Kumara, P.C.M Chandrapala and L.T.S.T Wickramatunga will enable the deserving sections to receive free spectacles through the coordination of Mrs. Priyanka Galappatti, Deputy Secretary of the GW - SVB.

Dr. Kapila Bimal Kannangara, Director of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Health Services Department supported the project.
