The monthly meeting of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR - SVB) was held on 02 December 2023 at the VIR Regimental HQ in Boyagane, headed by Mrs. Thushara Yatiwawala, Chairperson, VIR - SVB.
Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment, VIR who is also the patron to the VIR - SVB made an introductory speech at the beginning of the sessions.
Afterwards, the Chairperson, VIR - SVB reviewed past projects and evaluated pending and future plans in relation to SVB projects.
During the meeting, a sum of Rs. 50,000/= was donated to a soldier whose daughter suffers from a nutritional disease.
The session concluded, followed by an enlightening lecture of the personality development lecturer, Mrs. Iroshika Indumini on ‘Building Trust and Personal Development’.
