SLCMP-SVB Conducts its Annual Book Donation

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP - SVB) launched its annual book donation programme for 150 school children whose parents are serving civil workers of the SLCMP on Saturday (02 December 2023) at the SLCMP Regimental Headquarters.

Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa, the Chairperson, SLCMP - SVB, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

During the programme, more than 2100 books, valued at about Rs. 310,000/= were distributed among children learning in Grade 1 - 13. A total of 15 children symbolically received book packs, required for the school year 2024 during the simple meeting.

SLCMP - SVB members, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and civil workers participated in the donation event.
